Brand New Electronic Scoreboard

The NBDO Iotia Paul was conducting the one on one training for women on how to operate te brand new electronic scoreboard. There were 8 women attended the training dwithin one wekk and two days, were being trained to master the operation of the machine. During the training women were being a bit confused on how to use or operate the machine because it is new to them. NBDO spent time and his great effort with these participants teaching them step by step according to a competency level, ability and knowledge. This was conducted prior the officials training workshop for officials (referees and officials). The overall training spent 1 hour consist of:

1. First installation (switjching on/off)

2. Selecting the game

3. Setting time (game time & 24 shot clock)

4. Operating system (scoring, timing, team fouls, possessions etc..

Followed with these, NBDO went through the machine manual and point out which part of the machine need to be introduce well first to the participants to make sure it simple and easy for them to learn. The six 4 steps are being introduced easily for the first time. Further techniques/usage of this machine be implemented in further traiining for score benches included these women.

As KBF has recently run basksetball competition, these women will be included in the officials's roster to assis to os t of the game scheduled. Workplace assessment by NBDO is to be carrying out as well for them to monitor the progress or level of competency such as skills snd knowledge. Further training for level 1 score benching, these participants would be possible to attend as for accreditation.
