World Bank Regional Director Handing Over

The event commences at 8am in the morning let by Mrs Grenus from the Ministry officially briefing the purpose of the event and give time to quest to give a word. The Regional Director gives a speech to the head of the community to promise that for the sustainability of the basketball court in bonriki is under their good supervision, team work and management. The Director also explain that the purpose of building the facility is to avoid entering airport runnway in Bonriki and to get busy with basketball activities. After the director word of courage, NBDO Iotia P give a speech on behalf of the federation thanking the World Bank and the Ministry for organising the event which important to the community in Bonriki. The NBDO also outlining what the federation plan for activities and programs this year as Bonriki young male, female, men and women will be engaged, touching basketballs, dribble, passing and play for fun as well. 

Afterward, the Regional Director and the Secretary Mr Booti Nauan perform the handing over to the head of the community officially cutting reben and then handing everything basketballs and the keys. The Bonriki Basketball court is now operational and they can raise money from collecting fees for other clubs to book for training, competition and other functions. This money will assist the community to sustain the court.
