U19 men training progress

The federation and coaches has been working hard with the U19 men squad team aiming for a good standard of training helping young players develop in their skills and fitness. NBDO was helping the federation design the training program for coaches were all resources gains from the workshop conducted in Australia. There are recent intensive training program design for young players and seniors that NBDO add in the training in order for them to follow accurate coaching philosophy.

While training runs every week, the national men's team and together with coaches allocate every Saturday night challenging the U19 men to see how and where they are in their fitness and skills. The coaches confirmed that weekends is convinient to test the squad. Coaches also lopy to national men's team that wheather not attending the micro game in ponpei they will maintain their training aiming to attend the pacific game next year.

The fitness test has been schedule for the U19 men to run every month as to identify top ten players to represent team Kiribati in Fiji for FIBA Oceania qualifing game this year. The program will continues not only for the U19 men but for all new generation from grass root to masters.
