Bball U17 squad named
A total of 12 players were listed for the final squad that will represent Solomon Islands on an Australian Tour in December.
According to one of the trainiers, Howard Tang, the national U17 squad players were slecetd based on criterias used both on and off the court.
"We base our selection on participation during tranings".
"Most improtantly theri execution, team work and effort during the trainings and during game times", Howard said.
The coaching staff made the final selection following the U17 friendly against the Chinese Dragons basketball team on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, the U17 squad will be hosting a fundraising corporate night on August 19th at the Honiara Hotel.
The fundraiser is in aid of the squads tour to Gold Coast, Australia in December.
