High School Tournament
Four High School Teams from Anoamaa College, RLSS College, Leififi College and Vaimauga College participated in the High School Basketball Tournament held at the Apia Park. The first day was one the Friday 4th Aug from 3pm to 5pm. They were so competitive and the audience were imoressed as we know that it is the first time for Leififi and Vaimauga College to be involve in an actual tournament. Their performance lifted their own spirits and interest in the game. It is not just a game. On Saturday, they had their games the whole day from 9am to 3pm. The tournament went well and nothing came in the way. The tournament will then continiue on the Friday 11th fro round robin and the Semi Finals and Finals on the 19th August 2017. The purpose of this is to develop our local players and hopefully we will have this players play in their clubs.
