MOF Omsangel nails 2nd win in Rudimch Enterprise GBL

Team Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel scored its second straight victory at the expense of Koror State Government (KSG) Royals, 59-56, Wednesday night in the ongoing 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

After taking a 19-8 lead after the opening quarter, MOF Omsangel continued its run as they closed the first half with a 29-25 lead. MOF Omsangel then was outscored in the third but managed to keep a precarious 40-37 advantage, but in the final quarter MOF Omsangel kept their poise as they went on to win the game and sport a 2-0 win-loss record in the team standings.

Tutii topscored for MOF Omsangel with 22 while Weston added 13 as Gino Smau paced KSG Royals with 13 markers as they suffered their second loss for a 0-2 card.

In other games, Mason’s Hardware won over WCTC, 88-61; MOE II bested Palasia Hotel, 74-68; PPR Stingrays defeated Surangel and Sons, 81-73; PPR Shark Attack outclassed F&F Hunters, 76-69; Galaxy Builders routed Neco, 74-69; MOJ Cops blasted PPUC Kamik, 93-71; and Team ABC won over MPIIC, 20-0.

Games will resume tonight with MOE Spiders versus Team ABC at 6 p.m. while PPR Stingrays will take on Sam’s Sharks at 7:30 p.m. as Neco will meet PPR Shark Attack in the main game at 9 p.m.
