In last night’s 6.00pm game the YTS Team took on the NBL All Stars and as usual the YTS Team shot out to an early lead.   As is their philosophy is toward winning as opposed to thrashing their opponents, the YTS Team gave plenty of rest to their stars in Todd Fuller and David Wood and when the lead was reduced to a few points they again entered the game to stretch the lead.

This allowed the smaller brigade to get lots of court time and resulted in Caleb Wood getting 11 points, to outscore his dad David by 1 point.  While the NBL Team managed to win the 3^rd quarter with the YTS stars on the bench for most of the time, the YTS Team led at all other intervals and ended the game with a 83 to 70 win. 

In the second game of the night it was Team Palau up against the Filipino All Stars and again the Palau Team got away to a handy lead of 28-13 by quarter time.  Not to be outdone the FBL Team came back in the second quarter to win it by 3 points and so the scene was set for what was expected to be a tight second half. 

However, the aggressive defence and superior fitness of the Palau Team saw them end with a comfortable win of 95 to 57.   For Team Palau Raymond Watson had a game high score of 21 and for the FBL All Stars it was Dennis Castro who led the way with 11.

So tonight the YTS All Stars take on the NBL Team again in the 1 vs 4 spot semi-finals at 8.00pm and Team Palau play the FBL All Stars again at 6.00pm in the 2 vs 3 semi-final. 

The leading point scorers to date are Todd Fuller (YTS) 81, Raymond Watson (Palau) 48, Gino Smau (Palau) 45, Traxx Mark (NBL) 37 and David Wood (YTS) 37.  Top fouls belong to Obak Mad and Kent Moore of Palau with 9, Jerry Ebas (NBL), Taka Gibbons and Arnold Undecimo and Michael Williams all of Team Palau with 8 a piece.
