Dragons out to test WU in FBL Sunday

Team Liquid Skyy Dragons will test its capabilities as they face league leader Western Union, Sunday in the resumption of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

The highly financed Dragons (3-4) guns for an upset in their 3:30 p.m. encounter as they will be led by Dovie and Leomar De Jesus, Vic, Kim and Ninoy Agsalud, Jerome Castillo, Jonathan Pablo, Jun Bautista, Ricky Erese and Bogs Sanchez.

On the other hand, Western Union which carries an 8-0 win-loss tally in the team standings will again rely on its line up composed of Anon Cajegas, Dennis Castro, Bong Alambra, Al Obrero, Michael Garcia, Erwin Senadre, Darwin Fuentebella and Medel Cuyugan.

In other games, the Ilocandia Bulls will face the Jaguar at 11 a.m. followed by the Surangel Stars-Rams tussle at 12:30 p.m. as the Aloha Maid Choppers will meet PECI Spartans at 2 p.m.
