MES, SDA nail win in EACS Girls league

Meyuns Elementary School (MES) and Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Queens opened their respective campaigns on a high note after beating separate rivals at the start of the EACS Central Schools Girls basketball league at the Palau National gym.

MES Demul Fines downed George B. Harris Smuuch, 39-23. Trang Ksano led the way for MES with 30 points while Dee Ann Hasinto had 9 for GBH Smuuch.

On the other hand, SDA Queens drubbed Koror Elementary School (KES) Stars, 32-13 behind the 22 point performance of Nhikka de Lina.

A total of four teams are vying for the coveted crown and games will be played from Mondays to Fridays at 3:45 p.m.

Games today will have KES against GBH in the first game while SDA Queens will face MES in the main game. Games on February 6 will feature SDA Queens versus KES Stars in the curtain raiser while GBH Smuuch will meet MES Demul Fines in the main game.
