Originals to meet Ocean View/PCGM in Master’s bball finals

Team Originals gets a chance to defend its crown when they meet Ocean View/PCGM in the finals of the Master’s Basketball League at the Palau High School gym.

Both teams earned a spot in the best of three finals series after beating rivals in the semifinal round. Veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo unloaded 11 baskets to lead the Originals past Jive Restaurant, 71-57.

Bhoey Gopez topscored for Jive Restaurant with 22 but was not enough to fuel his team for a possible comeback.

On the other hand, Chris Fernando tallied 18 baskets as he powered Ocean View/PCGM past PPR All Stud, 89-64.

With the results, PPR All Stud will meet Jive Restaurant for the consolation game on November 27 at 12:30 p.m. while the Originals bid to retain its crown when they take on Ocean View/PCGM in the main game at 2:30 p.m.
