Team Ngaraad showed its defensive prowess as they took an early 10-3 lead in the first quarter and then added 13 more to close the first half with a 23-7 lead. From there, team Ngaraad never looked back as they sailed to win the championship crown. Alex led the scoring chores for team Ngaraad with 25 points while Uriah had 7 for team Melekeok A.

Ngaraad barged its way into the finals after beating Ngchesar, 40-15 in the elimination round while Melekeok A bested Melekeok B, 72-5 to move to the finals.

In the consolation game, team Ngchesar drubbed Melekeok B 51-11.

Trophies donated by the PNOC Solidarity Program were given to the winners immediately after the championship game while the PBF donated basketballs and rule books to all participating teams. The East Coast League is sponsored by the PNOC, PBF and MOE-PE and school sports.
