WCTC, Neco down rivals in Rudimch GBL

Teams WCTC and Neco showed poise as they went on to beat separate opponents, Friday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League at the Palau National gym.

Team WCTC nailed their second straight win after rolling past Fish N’ Fins, 109-59. WCTC opened the game with guns blazing as they established a 31-8 lead and from there never looked back to score the win and sport a 2-1 win-loss tally in the Business division.

Michael Bombita topscored for WCTC with 21 points as Coco Gonzales added 17 while Moses led Fish N’ Fins also with 21 markers on the losing end.

On the other hand, Neco catch a big fish as they dismantled RTRMI Crushers, 77-71. Down 22-20 in the opening period, team Neco anchored a rally of their own in the second canto via 20-14 to grab the lead and close the first half, 40-36.

From there, Neco stood their ground as they went all the way for the win. Ronald Magcalas led the scoring fray for Neco with 23 as Dovey de Jesus finished the game for RTRMI Crushers with 15 on the losing end.

In other games, KSG Royals won over PPUC Electric Eel, 81-70; Surangel Kings beat PRR Dragons, 97-86; PPR Shark Attack drubbed Mason Hardware, 114-93; and PNCC Molekoi defeated team ABC, 95-92.

Games resume tonight with PNCC Molekoi versus Island Rhythm at 6 p.m. followed by the team ABC-MOH Band Aid tussle at 7:30 p.m. while Sam’s Sharks will face WCTC in the main game at 9 p.m. Wednesday night games will have MOJ Lawmen against PPUC Electric Eel at 6 p.m. as Galaxy Builders will meet Surangel Kings at 7:30 p.m. as Mason Hardware will face Neco at 9 p.m.

Thursday night will feature President’s X-Men taking on MOE Spiders at 6 p.m. as KSG Royals will test MOF Omsangel at 7:30 p.m. while PPR Shark Attack will take on PRR Dragons in the night cap at 9 p.m.
