Bulls take on RP Rangers in FBL Sunday

Contender Ilocandia Bulls gun for their second win as they test the RP Rangers, Sunday in the resumption of the 2013 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.

Game time is at 11 a.m.

The Bulls riding a 1-0 win-loss tally will rely on the team of Raul Osias, Joeger Supnet, Jun Villena, Ryan Cacho and John-John Villena while the RP Rangers, who are still in cloud nine after beating defending champion FR Spoilers in the opening day, will again have brothers Jay and Joemar Naguit, Emerson Patenia, Jun Bautista, Jayson Tabuyo, Mike Guevarra and Nico Hinoza.

In other games, Surangel Stars will face PNQ Rams at 12:30 p.m. Surangel Stars gun for their second win as they will have Arnold Undecimo, Bong Gayongorza, Melvin Parrinas, Sib Reyes, Ryan Tayag, Rodel Flores and Dennis Demate while PNQ Rams will have Jake Mahor, Ronald Reyes, Fred Gloria, Rolly Jardenazo and John Llyod Corpuz.

Other matches will have Jr. Nationals against Hanpa Cardinals at 2 p.m. while Western Union will make their debut against the PRA Choppers in the main game at 3:30 p.m.

A total of 10 teams are seeing action this year namely defending champion FR Spoilers, Rangers, Surangel and Sons, Ilocandia Bulls, PRA Choppers, Hanpa Cardinals, Rams, Western Union, Jaguars and newcomer Liquid Sky with Nationals 19 and under squad as guest team.

Games are supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF). This year’s FBL League is supported by ATT Bar and Restaurant, HE Automotive, Palasia Hotel, Palau Royal Resort, FR Construction, Engrs.
