Jaguar humbles Choppers

Team Jaguar trailed most of the game as the Choppers opened the game with a 24-12 advantage and then closed the half with a 39-27 lead. From there the Jaguars continued their defense and outscored the Choppers with a 37-33 run as they tied the game at 90-all forcing the extra period. In the extra period, it was still a close game as both teams engaged in a seesaw battle with the Jaguars emerging as the victors.

Erwin Gonzalgo paced the Jaguars with 21 points as teammate Gener Aguinaldo added 19 as they now sport a 4-3 win-loss record while PJ Esguerra topscored for the Choppers with 26 as teammate and rookie Mark Louie Lofranco chipped in 20 baskets as they also tally a 4-3 card in the team standings.
