ISL BOY'S JV SEMIS

In the first semi final the talented Warriors team always had control of the game with their half court aggressive trapping defence.  Leading at every quarter enabled Assistant Coach Rayson to rest his star players in Marvic, RB and CJ and rotate many of his bench to provide them valuable playing experience for the final.

Last year’s finalists, Squires Black and BMS met in the second semi final.  BMS struggled in the first half to find the bottom of the net and with big man Ngtemis back after illness always looked ready to explode and make a game of it.  Unfortunately they left their run too late and by the time they really started to play in the offensive half, the Squires had built up a commanding lead.

Today's Consolation Final between EHS Squires White and BMS should be an evenly matched contest and may go right down to the wire.  Last year's final play-off coaches in Carlos from EHS and Mellington from BMS will again clash to earn the bragging rights yet again.

So on Monday in the final it will be the champions from last year, EHS Squires Black up against the emerging strength in Boy’s Varsity basketball in PMA Warriors.  While the Warriors easily accounted for the Squires in the rounds, Coach Carlos has the Squires finding some of their performance from last year and the final should be a game not to miss.  Fortunately Warriors Head Coach Ziske was able to return from his trip abroad and in time to lead his charges into the final.
