GBL commences for 2010
The opening ceremony for this year’s league was held on Tuesday evening, before the first game. At the opening ceremony of the league Mr Rudimch Kuroda of league sponsors Rudimch Enterprises presented a check for $1,000 to GBL President Vance Polycarp.
This is the fifth year that Rudimch Enterprises have sponsored the league. With 3 games played each night from Monday to Friday, the competition will run through until mid November.
The PBF is in an enviable position of having the problem of too many teams wanting to play and the period in the basketball calendar planned for this league is now running into the ABL planned season.
