PHS team A drubs BMS in 2013 ISL Girl’s Varsity bball

Palau High School team A showed their scoring prowess as they drubbed Bethania High School Stellars, 80-34 Tuesday afternoon in the ongoing 2013 Inter-School League basketball tournament.

PHS team A took an early lead via 21-11 and then went on for a 24-7 run in the second to close the first half with a 45-18 advantage. From there PHS team A went on a scoring rampage as they drubbed the Stellars for the win.

Sarabeth Ksano led the scoring assault for PHS team A with 27 baskets as teammate Kukong chipped in 10 while Leah Ngiratiou topscored for the Stellars with 10 points on the losing end.

On the other hand, Belau Modekngei School managed to handle to beat Palau High School team B, 49-28. Natasha Oiterong led the scoring chores for BMS with 23 points.

Games will resume on Monday with BHS Stellars versus MHS at the Palau National gym at 4 p.m.

A total of six teams are seeing action in the tournament namely Palau High School teams A and B, Bethania High School (BHS), Mindszenty High School (MHS), Palau Mission Academy (PMA) and Belau Modekngei School (BMS).
