Peched Raw tames Ksau Imaging Solutions in IP&E NBL 2013

Team Peched Raw secured another win this time at the expense of Ksau Imaging Solutions, 73-69 Thursday night in the ongoing 2013 season of the Shell IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) played at the Palau National gym.

Peched Raw started hot as they took a 21-8 lead in the opening quarter and managed to hang on the driver seat at the end of the first half with a 35-33 lead. Despite losing balance in the third canto with Ksau Imaging Solutions catching fire with a 21-17 run, Peched Raw managed to hang on as they stood ground in the final quarter to take the win.

Douglas Schmidt led the scoring chores for Peched Raw with 13 while teammate Sunshine Soalablai added 12 while Reid Una Rikrik topscored for Ksau Imaging Solutions on the losing end.

In other games, Joey Sumor tallied 28 markers to lead the Breakers against PCC Mesekiu, 86-75.

Games resume tonight with Peched Raw against 4x4 Wheelers at 7:30 p.m. while Idid Airwaves will meet PCC Mesekiu at 9 p.m. Tomorrow night’s matches will have Breakers taking WCC Hammers at 6 p.m. as Ksau Imaging Solutions faces Ngermid Rivals at 9 p.m.

Thursday night will feature Idid Airwaves versus Medalaii Stingers at 7:30 p.m. as WCC Hammers will test PCC Mesekiu in the main game at 9 p.m.
