Team ABC shocks Shark Attack in GBL

Team ABC showed poise as they scored a huge upset after beating the Business Division champions Palau Pacific Resort (PPR) Shark Attack, 79-76 in the ongoing Season Finals of the 2012 season of the Rudimch Enterprise Government/Business League played at the Palau National gym.

After taking a 23-11 lead in the opening quarter, team ABC maintained their balance attack as they held down PPR Shark Attack and any possible comeback. The win, placed team ABC into the next round of eliminations in the tournament as Traxx Mark paced them with 24 points while John Still added 23.

Streak shooter Jeoger Supnet topscored for PPR Shark Attack with 23 markers as the Business Division champions bows out of the tournament.

On the other hand, Government Division champs Ministry of Finance (MOF) Omsangel continued its cruise as they beat Sam’s Sharks, 81-74 with Jeffrey Tkel and Tutii Benjamin leading the scoring chores with 18 and 16 baskets, in that order.

In other games, MOJ Cops won over WCTC, 76-67; Galaxy Builders defeated MOE II, 96-80; and Mason’s Hardware bested MPIIC, 93-86.

Games will resume tonight with Galaxy Builders versus MOJ Cops at 6 p.m. while Mason’s Hardware will face KSG Royals in the main game at 7:30 p.m.
