Game One of FBL finals set
Defending champion Western Union stakes its title as they face the Spoilers at the start of their best of three championship series for the Filipino Basketball League (FBL), Sunday at the Palau National gym.
Game One is set at 2:30 p.m.
Western Union gets a chance to defend its crown after closing their series with the Mam’l Divers Rangers with a 2-1 count while the Spoilers swept their series with a 2-0 tally against the Ilocandia Bulls.
Set to pace Western Union are Bong Alambra, Erwin Senadre, Emerson Patenia, Medel Cuyugan, Sonny Jacinto, Darwin Fuentebella, Freddie Gloria, Edzel Torres and Erwin Igamen while the Spoilers will bank on its formidable line up composed of Michael Bombita, George Bernardo, Leonilo Gonzales, Mark Pagayanan, Felix Masaganda, Aries Echanova, Michael Garcia and Joel Nacionales.
On the other hand, Mam’l Divers Rangers will meet the Ilocandia Bulls in the curtain raiser at 1 p.m. for the battle for third place honors.
