Originals, Ocean View/PCGM beat rivals

Defending champion team Originals and Ocean View/PCGM continued their winning runs after besting respective rivals, Sunday in the ongoing second round of eliminations of the Master’s Basketball League at the Palau High School gym.

The Originals nailed their seventh straight victory after beating Panahon Ko I2, 79-69. Veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo led the onslaught for the Originals with 25 points as they now post a 7-1 win-loss record while Onyok Magdalaga topscored for Panahon Ko I2 with 15 as they slipped to 3-6.

On the other hand, Ocean View/PCGM also scored their seventh victory as they defeated the ECC Eagles, 101-90. Ricky Erese topscored for Ocean View/PCGM with 30 points as they also sport a 7-1 tally while Ezer Olubalang had 24 for ECC Eagles who are now 5-4.

In other games, Jive Restaurant bested WCTC Power Ball, 93-68.

Games will resume on October 16 with the Originals versus WCTC Power Ball at 12 noon followed by the Panahon Ko I2-Ocean View/PCGM match at 2 p.m. while PPR All Stud will meet ECC Eagles in the main game at 3:45 p.m.
