There were no surprises in the teams reaching the finals and Team Palau is looking forward to another encounter with the YTS Al Stars and matching it up with the 2 former NBA players in Todd Fuller and David Woods.  The opportunity to play against such height and bulk is rare for the Palau Team and will prove invaluable in future competition.

In the first game the Palau National Team did not get off to the same start as in the previous night and the FBL All Stars managed to match it with them for much of the first quarter.  In the second quarter the Palau Team lifted their defensive intensity to have a comfortable lead at the main break of 51 to 29.

From there it was all Tam Palau who ran out winners by 84 – 47.  With only 10 players (Taka Gibbons unavailable and Jason Seid injured ankle) the National team had plenty of running which will add to their match fitness.

In the second game the YTS All Stars did their usual demolition of their opponent who happened to be the NBL All Stars and with a 42 – 26 lead at half time had little trouble making it 4 wins in succession and ran out winners by 79 – 50.

In tonight’s games the FBL All Stars take on the NBL All Stars at 6.00pm for 3rd place and YTS All Stars will play Team Palau at 8.00pm for first place.
