Ryan has been conducting a course on FIBA Live Stats with 18 young volunteers through Monday to Thursday evenings.  As a part of their practical training the volunteers have been doing stats on each night’s NBL games.  Ryan was impressed with the speed at which they picked up on what he was teaching and by day 2 had competent statisticians.

In addition to the NBL games, the statisticians will use their skills through the Super League Tournament in mid June and also during the International Tournament in mid July.  This preparation should see them able to perform all their duties with competence during the Micro Games.

In addition Ryan has conducted a course on the FIBA Organiser over 2 days and has been evaluating referees during the NBL games.  He has also had several meetings with PBF executive personnel to help understand what is happening in Basketball Palau.

Ryan will return for the Micronesian Games in August to oversee the referees for the tournament.  We look forward to welcoming Ryan back and meanwhile say a BIG Sulang for his help and guidance.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
