Confidence boost for basketball girls
National Under 20 coach Seini Dobui looking to boost confidence levels in the team.
Dobui wants her team to perform to the best of their abilities at the upcoming Oceania Youth tournament in New Caledonia next week. Dobui said she taught them all the required skills need for such a level and is confident they will do well.
"Most of these girls are traveling for the first time to a competition like this and i just want them to play boldly on the court," she said. She was impressed with their performance during preparations and is confident they are well prepared compared to the last team that went in 2008.
Fiji is drawn with New Zealand ,Tahiti and Guam in the same pool she is looking forward to a tough outing.
