New uniforms for Suva school

YAT Sen Secondary School's chances in the Tuckers Ice Cream Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship has been further boosted following Digicel Fiji's sponsorship.

The telecommunication company provided the school's under-19 boys' team a dozen full-set uniforms for the week-long tournament in Suva.

Yat Sen U19 boys' side will play Lautoka's St Thomas High and Suva's John Wesley College in the tournament which started yesterday.

"I want to sincerely thank Digicel Fiji for sponsoring our outfit for this tournament and we'll play well and won't let you down," team captain Adriu Balekiwai said.

"We have prepared well and we are hoping for a good run in this tournament.

"The competition will be tough and it won't be easygoing for any side and we'll treat each game from the first one against St Thomas as a final," added Balekiwai.

Digicel Fiji's head of marketing Sheryl Singh wished the team the best in the tournament.

"All the best boys and perform to the best of your ability. And you are sponsored by the winners' network so go out there and aim to win this tournament."
