All teams turn up at 7:30am despite it was raining. First games kicked off at 9:30 between Upolu and Savaii. Upolu led by Lio was up to bat first and scored none in the first ining then Savaii under the leadership of Casimir Wei came out very strong and scored 5 runs to lead this ining. Final score was Upolu scored 6 and Savaii scored 15.

This followed by Manono challenging Apolima for the second game. It was quite entertaining because the Manono consist of all first time players from Siumu against the Apolima team consisted of contract workers for Baseball Stadium under the leadership of Te'o were all running wildly on the field as if the real SPG action is happening. Unfortunately the fun was short-lived because Te'o had to drag his team off the game due to misunderstanding over an issue that he did not want to discuss. The result was that Manono won by default.

Third game kicked off at 2:15pm for Upolu vs Manono. It was quite a tough game. Manono really game Upolu a hard run in the 2 ining with no scores. Pelite from Siumu pitching for Manono really stood out considering he hardly turns up for practice. The final score was 13 Upolu with Manono scoring only 3.

All the players enjoyed the first day and are looking forward to the 2nd Day, Friday, June 1st.
