Helping to decide the future of sport in Kiribati.

Eneree and Kakianako

The KAA Vice-President, Eneree Tataio, and Secretary (David Little) were joined at the KNOC AGM 2007 by Kakianako Nariki, our first I-Kiribati male Athletics Olympian in Athens in 2004.   The KNOC Constitution has to include a section stating that Olympians are ipso facto members of the General Committee.   Thus his attendance last Sunday.

Not many decisions were made at Part 1. of this AGM, except the elections (as per Constitution) of the two KNOC Vice-Presidents.   Hours of discussion passed and, in the habit and culture of Kiribati, many people had their say.   But they were mostly procedural and explanatory matters !   It is to be hoped that Part 2. achieves a little more, this Sunday !

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
