Kings Swimming Donates Container’s Worth of Equipment to Let’s Swim

Living in the Pacific, far removed from large industrial countries can be a challenge when trying to stock learn to swim programs with kickboards and other swimming equipment. Not only is it difficult to get equipment to the Pacific, but the cost of equipment plus the shipping costs can be prohibitive. Let’s Swim, funded under the Pacific Sports Partnership by the Australian Government, provides swimming training to children and adults in Oceania which requires a large amount of equipment for communities and schools.
Kings Swimming made it monumentally easier for programs to deliver learn to swim activities by donating a room’s worth of equipment to Let’s Swim, enough to fill a container to ship across the Pacific Ocean.
Representatives of national federations were overwhelmed as they walked into the room at King Swimming in Derrimut, VIC to collect the equipment. They were swimming in boxes full of kickboards, pull buoys, aqua aerobics gear and much more.
Let’s Swim is incredibly thankful to Kings Swimming for their very generous donation which will help young swimmers and even adults continue their learn to swim programs across the region.
