The workshop held on Saturday 21st April was extremely well attended with 35 participants. They were divided into four groups to cover areas such as current status, and identify key issues strengths and weaknesses to assist them with new strategic directions. Each group presented back and were quite diverse in their approach coming up not only with areas of concern but also highlighting where they felt they could develop with confidence.

The key area that needed to be addressed was to utilise the artificial surface to its maximum potential. Ways in which this could be achieved and the types of competition formats discussed. Gill Gemming (Oceania CDO) facilitated the workshop and has provided the Association with a summary of the group's findings and Oceania Hockey Federation will continue to support POMHA's development.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
