Meetings held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday last week with Papua New Guinea Hockey Federation local Organising Committee re their preparation for Youth Olympic Qualifier in late April.

An inspection of the facilities occured on Wednesday. The Facility has been well maintained since its introduction for the 2015 Pacific Games, however they have been encouraged to get the boards out of storage and set them up so that the PNG teams can use them in their preparation for YOG and the Port Moresby Association could run a local competition in preparation for their season.

Oceania Swimming have their Oceania Championships in Port Moresby in June so a combined meeting was held, chaired by Peter Tsiamalili Jnr, CEO PNG Sports Federation. OHF would like to acknowledge Oceania Swimming's  willingness to share documents and plans with the PNGHF as they have been late in starting their preparation.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
