A big hit to save the day! On July 22, a match between the men's softball team for Guam and Palau at the Spanish Wall field, was truly an exciting game to see.
Guam took over the first three innings getting two runs, and leaving Palau scoreless.
Both teams scored in the fourth, Guam getting three more runs, and Palau getting their first two, and they were really pumped up. They went on to score three in the next inning, with Guam having only one.
Each team scored two in the sixth inning, but Palau was quickly catching up. By the end of the sixth inning, Guam was leading 9-7.
In the seventh and last inning, Palau has two on the bases. With one out and still close, it was #3, Robinson Richards, who was on the deck. His first swing was a srike, and then the second throw came in and He hit the ball hard and went deep into the left field, and completed Palau's great comeback win.
