Guam's Men Basketball Team Advance to Finals
COM's National Gym was packed as spectators were present to witness another intense game between Team Kosrae and Team Guam for Men's basketball.
First quarter ended with Guam taking a 9pt lead (23-14). After much battling, Guam upped their previous lead by a mere 2pts (41-30). By the second half - players from both teams were playing high defense, which led Kosrae's star point-guard, David Taulung to foul out in the 3rd quarter. Though both teams showed much effort and heart, Guam took the victory (78-60).
Guam had 3 players who scored double digits: Steve Susuico (12pts), Joe Blas (17pts), and William Stinnett (21pts). Kosrae's top scorers were: Dlo Taulung (10pts) and Kezin Lotte (14pts).
Team Guam awaits Team RMI for the championship game tomorrow night.
