Hilton-Smith finds talents in local women's soccer

Hilton-Smith says Wednesday 10 August that she has found her students to be full of talents and skills in the game of football.

"I have been to many places in the world to run similar courses and I can assure you that from what I have seen so far, there is a potential for these girls to becoming very good players.
"My mission here is to develop coaches, and I believe that with the superb coaching team that Carlos heads and if these girls go out there and start working with the young kids, Vanuatu women can qualify for the world cup one day", she says.

Ms Hilton-Smith comes from South Africa with a record that shows 40 years of involvement in football, including 20 years as a player.
She is the President of SFA Women's Football Association going five years now. In 1997 she was President of Women's Inddor Soccer. She is also the SFA Women's National Teams Manager.
She is also a highly qualified coach. She has be the national Assistant Coach for the Men's U17 team in 2001. She holds FIFA, British and Dutch Coaching certificates. She is the only highest qualified soccer coach in South Africa, as well as the only woman national coach.
