Apco Coating Cup in PVFL

Apco Coating have made a big move in the beginning of 2005, as they put their stamp for the first time since they came to Vanuatu, in the country's Number One Sport.
On Friday 11 February, Apco's Marketing Manager Bala Arabatti and Port Vila Football League President George Iapson, signed the agreement for Apco Coating to sponsor the PVFL 2005 Opening Knock Out Tournament.
Mr. Iapson welcomed Apco Coating as a new partner in not only Port Vila, but also Vanuatu Football, and thanked Mr. Arabatti for working with him to make the arrangements a reality.
Mr. Arabatti said Apco is happy to be part of football and to contribute toward the development of the youths in sports.
The PVFL Opening KO starts in two weeks.
Meanwhil PVFL President George Iapson says all affiliate clubs are elligible to compete in the opening Knock Out.
"Normally only those clubs that have paid the first part of the 2005 affiliation fees would participate. But Apco has instructed my executive that they want to see all the clubs compete for their prizes they are offering", Mr. Iapson says.
Mr. Iapson says they have requested Apco to provide prizes at a total value of VT100,000. But that Apco has assured the league they may be injecting more than what they had requested.
