Welcome to our Autumn Comp!!

Hi Everyone

Welcome to the Autumn Comp at Wallsend Touch

1 Early Bird ends tonight for all players!

Tonight, 10 Feb, at midnight is the last chance for players to register and pay the early bird discount amount.  Team contacts please remind all your players to go to the www.wallsendtouch,com.au website and register themselves to your team.

2. Registration Payments

All players MUST be registered prior to taking the field from Round 1.  We will NOT be taking cash registration payments this comp.  We are only taking online registrations, so will have laptops available at the clubhouse for players to register and pay via mastercard, AMEX or visa prior to taking the field.

Minimum is 9 players per team.

3 Casual Registrations

We offer the casual regos once again. It was extremely popular last comp. Especially when you are running low on players throughout the season, eg they have gone away for work that night, or they are sick... So once you have registered the minimum 9 permanent players to your team, you can register as many casual regos as you like at $15 per player.  They need to come and pay and fill in a paper rego sheet at the clubhouse before they take the field.

4 Sign On Sheets

All players MUST sign on prior to taking the field, therefore, arrive at least 10 minutes before the game.

5 Fixtures

Fixtures are now available

Make sure you download the GAMEDAY app to your smart phone/tablet so you can view them, you can also view them via the FIXTURES/RESULTS tab on the Wallsend Touch website.

NOTE - Please do not worry about the grade you are in as we will be changing grades after round 3 once we are able to determine the standard of teams.  Only view games for the first 3 rounds.

6 Field Layout

We have changed around field numbers this comp to match with theNewcastle City Council layout.   Therefore, please view the map of the fields under the 'About Us' tab on the Wallsend Touch website.  Here is the link:

7 Liquor Licence

Wallsend Touch clubhouse is a licenced facility. Therefore, NO liquor is to be brought on to the premises surrounding the clubhouse. This includes the whole of Upper Reserve, and car parks.

8 Shirts and Numbers

Teams have until Round 4 to have same coloured shirts and iron on or printed numbers. Numbers and an iron are available at the clubhouse.

9 Do you need more players?

We have several players very keen to join teams, so if you can fit another player or 2 into your team, please email Kellie admin@wallsendtouch.com.au

10 ZERO Tolerance

Please be aware that the club has a zero tolerance policy with regards to abuse of other players, officials, volunteers, and especially our referees.  Our referees will not be allowing any abuse at all, so please ensure all your players are aware.

 11 Sports Cover Insurance

Touch Football Australia, WWSI and Sportscover are committed to providing the Touch Football community with a first class Sports Insurance Scheme.

Whilst the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) provides basic levels of cover for players and others participating in Touch Football, it is not all encompassing and does not seek to replace the need for private health and other insurances.

TFA encourages all players and officials to take out their own Private Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Loss of Income coverage over and above the coverage provided under this Scheme.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
