Al Emadi trounce Beton basketball team.

 

 

 

DOHA: Newcomer Al Emadi Enterprises team from the Division B of the 11th Western Union Cup 2012, presented by McDonald's Qatar & powered by Alicafe of Pinoy Basketball Qatar (PIBAQ) has now turned into most feared ball club in the Filipino league. 

This came after the team smothered its recent victim Beton WLL with a 79-point edge, 104-25, in their game over the weekend at the Al Gharafa Training Gym for its second straight win in as many games they played in the new season. 

Just the other week, the equally competent HRMC Consulting also fell into Al Emadi’s hands with a huge deficit, 84-40, which turned game observers that the Filipino Muslim squad to say that the kind of intensity should have put them into the bracket of professional teams at the Division A. 

Meanwhile, Qatar Kentz escaped a narrow victory over Power Horse Energy Drink, 84-78, saved it from a blunder of Albert Pelicano who committed a flagrant foul with 1:40 left in the game with score close at 74-73. 

Pelicano was slapped with unsportsmanlike foul sending Guerrero to the foul line with four free throws plus ball possession changing the complexion of the game. 

August Tailor also shared a scary game against newcomer Team Creations, 79-76, after Michael Paderes converted a difficult shot on the right perimeter with 34 seconds left in the game. 

Another sister team, Team Creations, at the Division B, however came out successful in their campaign with a lopsided victory over Exova, 98-53, while HRMC tried to regain its composure from it opening day loss to Al Emadi by defeating Doha Premium, 71-55. 

QDVC also won against Al Nawaktha, 86-79 while One Family trounced Natsco Autoshop, 79-74.
