Bank Med League : Final 8 : Riyadi & Champville on the winning Track

In the final 8 of the Bank Med League round 2 saw exciting games, In Zahle Riyadi had a big game against Anibal , Anibal who played the game without Terrence Shannon suffered in the first 3 quarters especially that Nate Johnson and Jean Abed El Nour were putting a big performance , Riyadi dominated the game and had a comfortable win but in the 4th quarter the home team regrouped and reduced the difference to five points but the big experience of the Champion prevailed in the end and secured a prestigious win on the score of 67-79.

In Dik El Mehdi , the leader of the Bank Med League suffered 3 quarters against Antranik , the guest took the lead for 3 quarters but couldn’t handle the pressure of the 4th quarter they cracked and couldn’t react which led to another win for the leaders at the score of 97-84.

In Amchit, Byblos who’s showing a good level of Basketball lately had a target to continue this performance and to try to repeat the win against Hoops in Amchit like in the previous round. The home team imposed its game from the first minutes and had a big dominance which gave them a comfortable lead despite the comeback of Hoops. Byblos won in the end at the score of 90-76.

In Tripoli, Moutahed and Sagesse continued their epic battle, this time the game turned down to be one of the most exciting ones since years , the two teams battled from the first minutes , Moutahed had a great start in the first quarter when they surprised the visiting team but lot of pressure , Sagesse answered back in the second quarter and regrouped to come back in the game to stay close , the score at the half was 45-43. In the third quarter the tempo turned to very aggressive and the two teams did their best to impose their game, the game continued on the same tempo till the last seconds of the game when Moutahed prevailed at the score of 88-83.
