11 teams to compete in IP&E NBL 2013
A total of 11 teams will vie for top honors when the 2013 season of the Shell IP&E National Basketball League (NBL) tips off on Monday night at the Palau National gym.
Teams seeing action this season include defending champion FR Spoilers, Peched, Idid 4x4, ABL champions Ksau Imaging Solutions, Nationals, WCC Hammers, Medalaii-Stingers, Airwaves, Ngermid Rivals, PCC Mesekiu and Breakers.
Team coaches, representatives and managers are reminded teams should be present for the opening ceremonies which will have IP&E Area Manager Frank Kyota as guest with Palau Basketball Federation Development officer Topps Sungino.
The tournament, which is supervised by the Palau Basketball Federation (PBF), is a tobacco, alcohol and drug free program. Any violators will be banned from participating. For more information call Topps at 488-4491. By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
