Rangers eye vengeance against team Choppers
Vengeance will be in the minds of MJ Rangers when they face team Choppers, Sunday in the resumption of the 2012 season of the Filipino Basketball League at the Palau National gym.
MJ Rangers (5-4) will try to avenge their first round lost to the Choppers last April 22 when they bowed to the latter via 84-83 in overtime. The Rangers this time will make sure that they take advantage of the situation as they will be led by brothers Jay and Joemar Naguit, Mike Guevarra, Nico Hinoza and veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo in the opening game at 11 a.m.
On the other hand, the Choppers (6-4) will try to duplicate their feat against the Rangers as they will have Ronald Reyes, Jelson Talavera, Erwin Ginzalgo, Bon-Bon Pramo, Eric Dedeles and Rey Potot.
In other games, FR Spoilers will meet Rams/Guardians at 12:30 p.m. as Ocean View/PCGM will face 9-Ball Friendster in the Master’s League at 2 p.m. while the Jaguars will battle Surangel and Sons in the main game at 3:30 p.m. By Peter Erick L. Magbanua (Island Times News)
