In the closest game of the day Mam’l Divers Rangers did their best to try to lose during the final quarter to the fast finishing Aloha Maid Choppers. Leading by 54-38 at three quarter time the Rangers looked to be heading for a comfortable win, especially with their abundance height in the Naguit brothers, but Choppers found renewed efforts through their increased pressure defence and caused many turnovers by the Rangers team to edge closer and closer. In the last 3 minutes the Choppers got within 3 points only to see this expand back to 5 or 6, but this scenario was repeated over and over until Rangers just managed to hang on to win 70-69.
