UQFC Women and Souths United Women battled to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon after a match featuring several outstanding defensive efforts.

Chloe Cole and Danielle Harbot were both made to work hard for their clean sheets, as the two keepers stepped up to ensure the points were split.

Deeanna Thompson had a decent late chance to grab the win for Souths, but Harbot's fantastic save kept things level.

The point keeps Souths nestled safely in the top four, while UQ sit just one win outside the Finals positions.

Both teams face difficult opposition next weekend, as UQ visit Peninsula Power and Souths play host to The Gap.
