Brisbane Olympic have made it three wins from three in 2017, holding on to defeat Western Pride 1-0 at Briggs Road Sporting Complex on Saturday night.

Matthew Heath continued his fine form in front of goal, heading into an empty net after half an hour to bring his season tally to five.

Thomas Carroll was immense in the Olympic goal, showing a willingness to rush off his line to close down Pride attacks.

Olympic have been perfect this season, scoring 11 goals on their way to nine points from three matches. Western Pride remain near the basement of the standings, with only one point to their name.

Olympic will look to continue their impressive start when they host Moreton Bay United next weekend, while Pride will be at home against Redlands United.
