Ingham & Carroll Best Outside A-League

Two of the National Premier Leagues rising stars have been named as part of the country’s top eight players outside the A-League in leading football publication FourFourTwo Australia’s latest issue.

Flying young Olympic FC winger Jai Ingham and FNQ FC Heat striker Jamie Carroll feature in the July edition’s ‘Best Player Outside The A-League’ feature, which includes praise from Football Queensland Technical Director Gary Phillips.

Ingham’s sparkling form for Olympic this season has won plenty of praise, the 19 year old scoring five goals from the flank in twelve appearances for the league leaders.

23 year old Carroll has been in similarly good touch for the Cairns based Heat this season, scoring five goals including a hat-trick in a 3-2 win against Queensland Academy of Sport in Round 9.

The magazine’s feature has been a regular favourite amongst Australian football fans and a barometer for state-based talent, previously bringing to attention the likes of current Socceroos star and former Palm Beach Sharks and QAS product Tommy Oar.
