BROOKE JOINS THE MITCHAM GIRLS IN 2017

The Mitcham Junior Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Brooke Witherow as Assistant Coach of the Mitcham Girls U16 team for 2017. Brooke is a life-long supporter of the Mitcham Football club and is currently Head Trainer for the senior team as well as a member of the senior committee. Brooke’s father, Russell (Leroy), is a former coach, player and current life-member of the club and Brooke’s move into coaching further extends a proud family association with the Mitcham Football Club.

Brooke has a passion for female sport and played girls football at high school and has coached netball at the Nunawading Netball Club and also guided the Mitcham FC netball team. Her sporting background combined with her roles as a nurse and as a young Mum means she brings a unique set of skills and insight to our most senior Girls football team. Brooke can’t wait to get involved with the further development of our girls football program and working closely with Head Coach Luke Smith to build on the fantastic success of the first season of Mitcham Girls football.
