Calling all members of the Mitcham Tiger Army!

This Sunday for the first time in many years the Mitcham Junior Football Club will have two teams contesting for premierships whilst the U15 Girls will continue their finals campaign with a Preliminary Final clash. We are calling on all Mitcham supporters to turn up to this week’s finals venues, create a sea of Yellow and Black and give our teams the lift that only the Mitcham Tiger Army can provide.

Our U11 team under coach Sandy Marini have won through to the Grand Final in their first year of competitive football and will take on a formidable North Ringwood team. With only a goal separating these two teams when they last met this promises to be an absolute thriller. The venue is the Knox Gardens Reserve, Argyle Way, Wantirna South and please note that the game will start at the earlier time of 10.30am.

The U17 boys under Cam Horsey are raring to go after weeks rest and will need to be at their very best when they come up against a Heathmont team that goes into Sunday’s game full of confidence. Most of our boys have been together since Auskick and they will be looking for all your support in a clash that kicks off at the Ferntree Gully Reserve, Glenfern Rd. Ferntree Gully at 2.30pm.

In the Girls competition our Mitcham U15’s continue their finals journey with a Preliminary Final clash against Mount Evelyn. For the third week in a row Luke Smith’s team will travel to Batterham Reserve, Miller Rd. Boronia for a clash that starts at 11.40am.

Admission is free for children and only $5 for adults, so get around our boys and girls and give them the boost that only a Mitcham crowd can!

Please note that anyone not wearing YELLOW AND BLACK will be refused entry!

Win or lose, all families are invited back to the social rooms at Walker Park from 5pm onwards to celebrate what have been fantastic seasons from all three teams.
