SUNDAY, AUGUST 7 FINALS RESULTS

Under 11’s (Coach: Sandy Marini)

Knox Gardens Reserve was the venue for a spot in the grand final.  The deck had time to dry out so conditions were ok for footy.  We had met Coldstream earlier in the season in a tight and tough struggle that went their way by a point in the end.  Today was no different with both teams showing a fierce competitive spirit as well as effort.  In the end we came out with a 4 point win.  Tears of hurt the previous week were replaced with tears of joy, realizing we achieved a spot to battle for the big one.  The tiger army was out in force once again.  Thank you to everyone who came to support us, showing the true tiger spirit.  It sure makes a difference!  Thanks also to Tanya, Kathy, Kerrie and mums who made yellow and black pom poms. So this is it.........a couple more training sessions, then the Grand final.  These boys have made this year one that I will never forget. Mates forever.......Bring on Sunday.

Final Score: Mitcham 1.11.17 d Coldstream 2.1.13
