With less than 2 weeks to go till the Mitcham Junior Football Club’s Registration Day it’s time to start getting organised and thinking about the 2018 season. As a club we have had tremendous growth over the last few years and we want to continue to build what is one of the most dynamic clubs in the EFL.

We are particularly focussed on our younger age groups and in an historical first we will field two teams in the one age group, U11 Boys, for the first time ever. The goal would be to continue to field two competitive teams each year in the U11’s so we need to ensure we have strong numbers coming through from the U8’s, U9’s and U10’s. In parallel with this one of the most exciting developments in the last two years has been the growth in Girls football and we also need to actively recruit young female players so that we can have strong U10 and U12 Girls teams.

We need your help to keep building and history shows that our players and their families are the best source of recruits so please get active and spread the word amongst your local friends and contacts. With free registration and a free hoody new recruits have nothing to lose and indeed plenty to gain in joining one of the most progressive and family-friendly clubs in the EFL. Indeed with the best training and playing facilities this side of the MCG why would you want to be anywhere else.

So spread the word, round up some recruits and bring them along to our registration day on Sunday 26th November, 9.30 till 1.30 at the Walker Park aka the MCG of the East

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
