TIGERS DO THEIR BIT

Once again The Mitcham Junior Football Club is proud to get out and about and take football to our local schools. As well as providing a place for children to come and learn the skills and play Australian Rules football, it is important that we are also seen to be giving something back to our local community. Today was the first of 4 Auskick Clinics at local Primary Schools and fetes with the Mitcham JFC Auskick clinic being run at Old Orchard Primary school.

With the MJFC Auskick Co-ordinator and finalist for Auskick co-ordinator of the year last season Craig Giles running the session, the club was also well represented by under 11s Player Daniel Newnham and Under 12 Players, Sam Balman and Tyler Kenyon who helped out. BIG Shout out also and thank you to Arron Bailey at The EFL for his assistance.

The Mitcham Junior Football Club NAB Auskick program returns bigger and better in 2015. Starting on Friday April 10th, we will have clinics under lights at Walker Park, Nunawading (the official MCG of the East!) every Friday night from 6pm till 7pm. A great family friendly environment and with the very experienced Craig Giles as Auskick co-ordinator, what better place could you wish to have your children learn all there is to know about playing this great game.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
