PRACTICE MATCHES SUNDAY MARCH 30

After traveling down to Sorrento last weekend for practice matches, this week (Sunday, March 30) we are at home for our final hit out before the season gets underway on Sunday, April 6.

9.30am - Under 11's v Waverley Blues
10.45am - Under 12's v South Belgrave
12.15pm - Under 14s v South Belgrave
2.00pm - Under 17 v South Belgrave
5.00pm Under 9's & 10's v Doncaster (both game played at same time across the ground)

Black shorts are to be worn by all our teams.  Shorts and socks will be available at the club on Friday night from 6pm -7pm and of course on Sunday in our MJFC tent.  Unfortunately our NEW training jumpers have been delayed and won't be available unitl next week.

Dinner and Jumper Presentation for Under 9's and 10's will follow the practice games along with a few other surprises.   Dinner will be $15 a family.  Lamb on the spit and salads for the adults and sausages and soft drink for the kids.  Payments will need to be made to Nicole Blanchard at the MJFC tent.  We would love to have some volunteers to help with the BBQ duties, particularly around the 5.30pm time-slot as dinner is prepared.  As this is an event for the Under 9 & 10 teams, we would expect help to come from families within these teams.    Jumper Presentation for the rest of the teams will be on Friday, April 4 at the Sporting Club after training.  More to come on that early next week.

To the left and below are some photos from last weeks games at Sorrento.  A big thank you to everyone who made the trip down there and to the Sorrento Junior Football Club for their hospitality.

Thank you to Graham Bradtke and Bec Clark for the photos!

The Season 2014 Draw should be released over the weekend for all age groups.  As soon as we have them, your team mangers will alert you.
