ONE LAST HURRAH

As footy season starts to draw to an end folks, we have just one last hurrah this weekend. Unfortunately the Seniors went down to a Nathan Thompson lead Doncaster to be eliminated in the Preliminary final while the Reserves won an epic against Templestowe by 4 points to advance to the Big Dance on Sunday out at East Burwood. Once again before we get to Sunday we have 4th division Grand Final at Walker Park on Saturday and the tradition of the junior club running the Dunlavin Road Side BBQ and Bar continues. Those that helped out last year had a ball with plenty of laughs, good food and a refreshing drink or two.

So the Tiger Call to Arms goes out one last time for season 2013 for workers and supporters over the coming weekend, anybody that can spare an hour or two Saturday would be a tremendous help. Please let Luke Smith know by email / text or just turn up on Saturday from 10.30 am (Mitcham Gear of course) at the Dulavain Road side gate, you will need a pass to get into the ground, So just call out either through the fence or call Luke Smith as he will have ground entry passes for official Mitcham Club staff – Kids under 16 are free entry.

Then on Sunday it’s out to East Burwood to see if the Reserves can bring home some silver wear when they take South Wantirna for the Division 3 reserves Premiership.
